Basildon Borough Council have installed steps on the steep stony bank that is on the boundary between the fields Greens and Watts. This will make walking along this part of the Mill Meadows trail much easier.

Locally we call this the bee bank because we sometimes find the little holes in the ground that evidence the presence of mining bees when they are active in the summer months.
