Mill Meadows Nature Day

The Mill Meadows Nature Day will be a fun, free community event that brings together nature lovers and local residents of all ages for a day of hands‑on activities, guided walks and engaging talks from local experts.

The event is to be held in the field called Wantsfield which is located on the western side of the local nature reserve adjacent to the Southend Road. The day will provide visitors the opportunity to explore and learn about nature, as well as better understand the history of Mill Meadows and the role it plays in our local community.

On the day, visitors can look forward to:

 ·                Guided walks and talks around Mill Meadow

·                Free, fun craft activities for all ages including windmill building, bee-bomb making and scavenger hunts.

·                Woodland activities for children from the Billericay Forest School

·                Stalls from local animal and nature charities

·                Refreshments and ice creams.
